PAYMENTS, CONTRACTS & TERMS

What are the terms of working with you?

Usually a 50% deposit will be requested to secure my schedule and book your project dates. The final balance is then paid when the deliverable files are ready to be sent to you. Any service purchased through this website will include a contract to ensure that both the client and myself are protected.

I'm on a budget, do you have payment plans available?

For tailored packages I do offer payment plans. We can break the project fee into manageable instalments that are paid over an agreed period of time.

I'm thinking of working with you but would rather see some feedback.
Do you have any available?

You can view feedback by clicking here or read my more detailed case studies.
I am proud to have delivered a consistent 5* rating.

Can I see previous work?

You can view my portfolio by clicking here and on request I’d be happy to send work relevant to your area of the market.

What type of products do you specialise in?

I am formally trained in luxury fashion (Men’s & Women’s) and can design and pattern cut across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear although I do not offer accessory design. Please also note I am not a manufacturer, although I can connect you with suitable industry contacts and guide you through the production process.

Regarding your services, what is classed as ONE design?

Any single garment that requires a separate drawing and tech pack is classed as one design/item/.

Do not confuse this with one ‘look’. For example, a suit that requires a separate tech pack for the trousers and jacket counts as one look, two designs/items.

Will I like the work you do?

The creative process is designed with multiple opportunities for feedback and amendments. You will receive a minimum of three presentations during the design phase: initial designs, design development and final line-up. If you request 3 designs, you will receive a body of work presenting multiple ideas until we refine your chosen designs down to the final 3. So there is always plenty to choose from.

I pride myself on a clear stream of communication and ensure your happiness with the project outcome is of utmost importance.

OTHER FAQs

I don’t live near you, is this a problem?

Not at all. I work with clients and factories worldwide. I’m used to working internationally and have developed a system where I can regularly communicate with clients without issue. You are welcome to visit my studio if applicable, however many of my clients are comfortable with postal arrangements in relation to reviewing toiles and physical work.

I'm a student, can I still work with you?

Yes, absolutely. As well as paid services, I also offer free help and articles through my blog and newsletter; which both share industry tips, news and insights.

Are you available to work on location?

Please get in touch with more information for me to check my availability.
